Product Information
Andrographis paniculata is an annual herb in the acanthus family (Acanthaceae) with a long history of use in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese practice, where it is known as chuan xin lian. This grade is a 10:1 ratio extract: ten parts of dried herb go into one part of finished extract. TLC (thin layer chromatography) is the identity test. A ratio extract is not standardized to andrographolides; if your formula needs a stated andrographolide level, use a standardized grade. The extract is profoundly bitter and holds up well to heat during processing, and it is most often formulated into capsules and tablets.
